This week at ActiveCareer we introduce you to our very best recommended job and career sites within the United Kingdom.

These links are external and so the content is beyon our control, however if you are looking to search for jobs elsewhere then these sites are good places to start your job search.

1. Monster Jobs - One of the original online job sites and still one of the best.
2. Job Site - Search for UK jobs and register your CV.
3. Computeach - A specialist job provider offering IT jobs and courses.
4. Reed - Browse 1000's of UK job listings daily
5. CV-Library - A great site where you can build and store your online CV.

One thing you should bear in mind when using multiple jobs sites is to check how and where your data is distributed. The above sites will hold their own data but other sites may sell this information which can lead to lots of unwanted calls. Allways check a web site's privacy information pages when providing personal information about yourself. A CV can contain lots of personal data which you may not wish to circulate too wide.

The benefits of hunting for jobs online are significant though, in many cases they can eliminate a lot of the chasing and hard work as your details are made available for numerous recruiters to express an interest.

At ActiveCareer from time to time we will provide new recommendations about external sites that we think you should consider using. For now check out our top five links above.
